Hardware-enforced trust boundaries for private AI computation, proprietary model protection, and tamper-proof financial transaction signing.
The Vulnerability of Standard Cloud Computing: When software runs in a standard AWS, Google Cloud, or datacenter server, the operating system kernel, hypervisor, and hosting staff have unrestricted access to physical RAM. For autonomous AI agents holding financial signing keys, private user context, or proprietary model weights, standard hosting exposes critical assets to memory dumps, unauthorized code injection, and front-running.
How Hardware Confidential Silicon (TEEs) Protects Compute: A Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) is a physically isolated hardware boundary inside the CPU or GPU chip. When an enclave initializes, on-chip cryptographic engines encrypt every byte of memory using keys generated by physical true-random number generators (TRNG). Even hypervisors, cloud operators, and compromised host OS administrators cannot inspect or tamper with runtime memory.
Hardware Attestation Proofs: The processor measures the exact cryptographic hash of all software and data loaded into the enclave into Platform Configuration Registers (PCRs) and produces a hardware-signed Attestation Quote signed by Intel, AMD, or NVIDIA root certificate authorities. Remote agents and enterprise auditors verify this mathematical quote before transferring funds or transmitting confidential prompts.
Ashlar Blue is hardware-agnostic by design. Our attestation verifier unifies diverse enterprise silicon into a single standardized verification framework:
• Intel Trust Domain Extensions (TDX): Hardware-isolated virtual machines with Multi-Key Total Memory Encryption (MKTME) and Measurement Root of Trust (MRTD) hardware certificates.
• AMD Secure Encrypted Virtualization (SEV-SNP): Full memory encryption with hardware state protection and VCEK cryptographic attestation certificates.
• NVIDIA Hopper / Blackwell Confidential Computing (GPU TEEs): End-to-end PCIe encryption and GPU VRAM isolation, allowing open-weights LLMs (Llama 3, DeepSeek, Mistral) to run private inference where prompt context and model weights remain 100% unobservable.
• Universal Market Data & Oracle Ingestion: Direct hardware ingestion of CME FIXML 5.0 SP2, ISDA Common Domain Model (CDM), and multi-rail oracle feeds directly into the enclave boundary before authorizing settlement.
Zero-Rebuild Elastic Partitioning for Post-Match Clearing: Inside each hardware-attested Isolated Enclave Session, Ashlar Blue pairs an in-memory Encrypted Volatile State Engine with our Volumetric Dispersion Array (VDA) and Attested State Commitment Engine. During ultra-high-frequency volume spikes (427,413 events/sec sustained | 521,217 events/sec peak), the VDA elastically bifurcates enclave partitions in 0.15 µs average (< 4 µs) with zero state recomputation and zero disk I/O.
Two-Phase Solvency, Dark-Pool Privacy & 0x00 RAM Sanitization: Every post-match fill undergoes a 1.68 µs two-phase atomic collateral check under 128-bit fixed-point arithmetic (0 atomic units drift across 769.34M events). Continental enclave clusters synchronize via 1,632-byte epoch roots (99.38% WAN compression), issue 384-byte dark-pool pruned IETF SCITT receipts, and deterministically overwrite retired session RAM with 0x00 bytes upon scale-in (1,447,723 sessions zeroized).
All memory pages allocated to an Ashlar Blue execution enclave are encrypted using hardware AES keys generated on-chip by the CPU. Even hypervisors, cloud operators, and compromised host OS administrators cannot inspect or modify runtime memory.
The Measurement Root of Trust (MRTD) hash is a 256-bit cryptographic digest representing the exact binary code and initial state loaded into the enclave. Counterparties verify this hash against immutable blockchain records before authorizing payments.
Hardware attestation quotes are formatted as standard EAT/CWT tokens bound directly to the payment authorization envelope, ensuring unforgeable provenance across all counterparty audits.
